Jersey has a deeper bench of accountancy firms than an island of 100,000 people has any right to, largely because of the finance industry. That is good news if you need audit or fund work, and confusing if you are a café owner who just wants their books kept and their GST filed.
This page exists because that distinction is hard to see from the outside. A firm doing statutory audit for a fund administrator and a firm doing monthly bookkeeping for a builder both describe themselves as accountants.
Working out what you actually need
Most Jersey businesses are choosing between three things, and the labels do not help.

We do not publish phone numbers, email addresses or staff names. Principals are listed only where the firm names them publicly as partners or directors on its own site.
Where we fit
For the sake of being straight about it: Bookkeeper.je does monthly bookkeeping, payroll, GST returns and management accounts for Jersey businesses on a fixed monthly fee. We are not auditors and we are not a chartered firm, and if you need either we will say so. What we are good at is the recurring monthly work that most chartered practices price as a sideline.
