This page summarises what PwC says it does, taken from its own website on 5 September 2026. It is a reference entry, not a review: we have not worked with them and we do not rank the firms in this directory. Their entry comes from a third-party directory rather than the firm's own site, so treat the detail as indicative.
What their service list does and does not say
Firms describe the same work in different words, so the table below maps PwC's published services onto the jobs a Jersey business actually shops for.
| What you might need | Advertised |
|---|---|
| Bookkeeping Someone keeping the ledger up to date through the year | — |
| Payroll & ITIS Paying staff, filing ITIS and social security | — |
| GST returns Quarterly GST returns filed on time | — |
| Management accounts Monthly or quarterly numbers you can steer the business with | — |
| Year-end accounts Statutory accounts at the end of the financial year | — |

| Statutory audit A formal audit, needed only by certain companies | Yes |
| Company secretarial Annual returns, statutory registers, company formation | — |

| Software & training Help getting Xero or QuickBooks working properly | — |
PwC publishes its services as broad headings — Assurance, Tax, Advisory, Accountancy, Compliance & risk and Intellectual property services — rather than as specific jobs. A firm describing itself that way may well do bookkeeping, payroll and GST returns; the list simply does not say. Treat the dashes above as unanswered, not as noes, and ask them directly.

The clients they are built for
Large Channel Islands entities needing assurance, tax and advisory from a global network firm.
What the network membership means
Being part of an international network changes who a firm is built for. It buys reach — group reporting, cross-border tax, regulated and fund clients, and the capacity to sign off work that an island practice cannot.
It also sets the price floor. A sole trader or a five-person company is rarely who this kind of firm is structured for, and being turned down or quoted out of range is not a judgement on your business.

Where we fit
Being straight about it: Bookkeeper.je is one of the firms on this island, so we are a competitor of PwC, not a neutral referee. We do monthly bookkeeping, payroll, GST returns and management accounts for Jersey businesses on a fixed monthly fee. We are not auditors and not a chartered firm — if that is what you need, PwC or another firm here will serve you better and we will say so.

How we sourced this entry
Unlike most entries here, this one was not taken from PwC's own Jersey website. It comes from a third-party directory of Channel Islands firms, which means the service list reflects how the firm is described rather than how it describes itself. Treat it as a starting point and check anything that matters directly with them.
